British AWP manufacturer JPM has reaffirmed its commitment to the export market wih the signing of a new deal with Polish distributor Synot. It marks a continued pledge by the firm to maintain its links with overseas partners in the wake of its turbulent management buy-out last year. "Since the MBO in 2004 we have been working hard to maintain the valuable relationship with Synot" said director Tony Jones. "And the continued quality of the product we deliver has seen our ties become stronger than ever. This new agreement shows our focus on content development and supply for these burgeoning markets through Synot." Under the terms of the new deal, Synot will have new game kits available for them to build in the lucrative Polish market. The kits will be for refurbished cabinets utilising updated technology on the Impact platform. This, says JPM, has been under discussion for some time and is another major step on allowing Synot to increase brand strength in Eastern Europe. These upgrade kits are in addition to the successful JPM products that are currently available in this market. The agreement was formally signed at the Svet Zabavy trade show in Prague. Commenting on the deal, Synot director Petr Zamecnik said; "We have always viewed our relationship with JPM as one of a partnership. The new management have continued to supply high quality products and services and we view JPM products as the best available." JPM will develop the games kits at its offices in Birmingham using the team that has provided a raft of successful games for Synot in recent years.
