JPM releases a majestic winner in Spain

11 September, 2007 - JPM International, a leading player in international gaming and amusement markets, will be taking advantage of its presence at the Fer Interzar International Gaming and Gambling show in Spain to demonstrate one of its most well received machines of 2007 – Arabian Palace.  The machine combines a traditional reel-based game with a high-resolution interactive video top game. Through its Spanish distributor Comatel, JPM has garnered significant praise for Arabian Palace.  Designed specifically for the Spanish market, the machine has tested well across the regions since its launch and has quickly become one of the top performing machines in the market.

The base game offers a traditional three-reel game with holds, nudges and gambles with overlaid symbols which, dependent on the combination, offer bonus points and vertical winlines which are stored to be used in the top game, as well as a ‘Parada en Fruta (‘Stop a Fruit’) award feature.  The top game features a 3-reel, 5- to 8-Winline video game with dedicated features such as ‘Hide and Seek’ (Escondite), ‘Flying Carpets’ (Alfombras Valodoras) and ‘Rise and Fall’ (Subir y Caer).  Theses features are designed to take full advantage of the video screen technology and add a new dimension to the gameplay with bright and exciting visuals.

“The overwhelming success of Arabian Palace is testament to our decision to move away from traditional pure reel based games towards hybrid video machines,” explained Phil Burke, International Sales Manager, JPM. “For JPM, video technology offers an exciting opportunity to present an enhanced customer experience to the player by enabling us to add thrilling new features to our machines.”
