JPM International take Presitgous step with Video
22 January, 2007 - JPM International, a leading player in the amusement and gaming markets, today unveiled an exciting new range of games in its brand new dual-screen Prestige cabinet. The new cabinet has been created to meet the growing demand for video-based cabinets and delivers upon JPM International’s vision of the future.
The result of substantial investment in product development, hardware and software the new Prestige cabinet will play an important role for JPM in 2007 as the company adds a broad range of video based product to its reel-based ranges. Delivering the flexibility to cope with differing market requirements, the Prestige cabinet offers two specifications – one for the street/arcade market, the other for the casino market.
The Prestige hardware comprises a PC platform running a high-powered AMD 64 processor, dual head N-Vidia graphic card, 1GB of RAM and a high capacity hard disk drive. With Pluto 6 and the Linux Operating system, the machine delivers extremely high-level 2D and 3D graphics and can be fully re-configured to specific customer configuration options.
Prestige offers three flexible formats. Firstly, the cabinet is available with twin 19-inch TFT displays with touch screen capabilities on the lower screen. Secondly there is the reel-to- video hybrid version which has conventional reels in the lower glass and a 19-inch TFT on the top half. Finally, the third option is a single 32-inch touch-screen TFT display.
“At ATEI, JPM will present three market variations of games housed in the Prestige arcade/street and casino cabinets. The eleven Czech and Slovak games on offer are delivered under the banner of the ‘JPM’s Cyclone Games’ compendium, alongside that of the six games being initially launched for the Ukrainian casino market delivered under the brand of ‘JPM’s Tornado Games’ compendium,” explained Simon McCarthy, Sales and Marketing Director, JPM International. “Initial feedback from distributors has been very positive"
