JPM International takes flight with new AWP game
12 July, 2006 - JPM International, a leading player in the amusement and gaming markets, announces the launch of Wings, a new reel based AWP housed in the market leading Linear™ cabinet, designed for the Central and Eastern European market.
Alongside the base game, JPM has added both a skill feature and a mechanism for feature entry with an entry symbol held function. The machine is available in either 300 or 750 Jackpot format.
The base reel game randomly holds over any feature entry airplane symbol that is already awarded, thus greatly increasing the player’s chances of entry into to the feature game.
The feature game is activated once all three entry symbols are simultaneously lit and awards the player a spin of the propeller. Once activated the propeller spins, slowing to a stop with each blade pointing to an award value. The colour combination achieved on the entry to the feature determine the award card offered to the player during the feature game. For example, mixed blue and red symbols will light the innermost ring; all blue - the centre ring; all red – the outermost, highest award ring.
Once the propeller feature awards two values, the player is given the option to either collect or to Turbo Gamble™ the sum of the awards.
Should the feature entry symbols appear in the 27 way window in a single spin (i.e. without the aid of the hold function) the player will be awarded a Skill Stop on the feature game. The player must use their skill to stop the propellers on the highest combined value of awards.
