JPM International finds Eastern promise with new Spanish AWP

22 January 2007 - JPM International, a leading player in the amusement and gaming markets, today announced that it would shortly be launching a new game - called Arabian Palace - in the Spanish market.  Based in JPM’s stunning Linear cabinet, Arabian Palace has a traditional mechanical reel bottom game and a high-resolution interactive video top game.

Available in both two- and three-stake formats, the new game has a distinct and colourful Eastern theme.

The bottom game is a traditional three reel game with holds, nudges and gambles but also includes overprinted symbols which, dependent on the symbol attained, add to the Bonos pot, the Recompensas vertical winline feature or award a Parada en Fruta (‘Stop a Fruit’) feature.  The top game features a 3-reel, 5- to 8-Winline video game with dedicated features such as ‘Hide and Seek’ (Escondite), ‘Flying Carpets’ (Alfombras Valodoras) and ‘Rise and Fall’ (Subir y Caer).  The features are designed to take full advantage of the video screen technology and add a new dimension to the gameplay.

In addition to the top and bottom games, players are able to access additional game features.  These include vertical winlines which are awarded whilst playing either the bottom or top games and used in the top game to increase the number of winlines; Tower Accumulator, which unlocks hidden features and bonuses and also the use of Wild Symbols which are unlocked on the maximum stake.

“We’re really pleased with the new Arabian Palace concept,” explained Phil Burke, JPM’s International Sales Manager, “The new game delivers the traditional three reel game experience combined with compelling new high stake video features and is proving to be extremely popular with the players.”

Arabian Palace will be available through JPM International distributor Grupo Comatel.
