Appointment of new Managing Director

Tony Jones and Brian Mitchell the two existing owner Directors of JPM International, are delighted to announce they have successfully recruited Charles Walker as a director. Charles takes up the role of Managing Director with effect from 31st Oct. 2005 and he will take a lead role to assist us setting and implementing our business strategy as JPM expands its international operations and enters new markets.

Charles, 42, brings with him a wealth of top-level experience in managing high-growth companies and is already discussing with us new and exciting ideas for leading and developing the business over the next few years.

Charles comes to JPM from the Telecoms and Home Services group Servista where he was Senior Vice President, leading Account Management, Product Development and International Sales teams. Servista’s clients include major organisations such as Lloyds TSB, Tesco and the Post Office.

Charles will focus on sales, business development and the strategic development of JPM which has recently launched interactive TV services, with JPM’s games available via the Playjam channel on Sky Interactive.

Previously Charles was Vice President of Belgium’s national airline, SN Brussels Airlines (formerly Sabena), reporting to the CEO and based in Brussels. Charles was responsible for direct sales, global call centre operations and customer care for 3,000,000 customers in 25 international markets, doubling sales within 18 months.

Charles was the founding Managing Director of Lycos UK & Ireland- one of the UK’s major Internet companies. Before Lycos, Charles launched Reed Elsevier’s IT online information service for 250,000 subscribers, after an initial career as a News Reporter for BBC Radio. Charles has degrees from the London School of Economics and London Business School..

We very much look forward to working with Charles to build JPM International into the No.1 business in the gaming market worldwide.
